Builder's Story
As a young boy, growing up in a second generation home-building family, some of my fondest memories are of tagging along with my father or grandfather as they tended to the day to day responsibilities of home-building. Even then, it was obvious to me the strong importance a new Home had to the customers they built for. You could see it in their faces. The sense of security, accomplishment and pride that a new home brought. That special place that would hold the memories that lives are built from. It wasn’t long before I too took on many of those responsibilities and began my own career in the building business.
The journey for me began over 30 years ago working for my father and continued when, at the age of 20, I started my first building company in Delaware. 30 years and thousands of homes later, Craft Built Homes, LLC is a reflection of everything I have learned in this business.
It is my belief that a house is not just a shelter, but a Home, and a place that should reflect the lives and personalities of the people that call it Home. It is an important ingredient to which people build rich and happy lives.
